Power Rangers style exploration
One of the fun things (among many!) about working for Disney is that because it's so far reaching (regarding the amount of properties that the company represents) there are ample opportunities to try new things with previously established characters. The following are examples of some Power Ranger style explorations I did awhile back. We were going for a comic book inking style similar to that of Spawn. As a result I was able to hand ink all of the completed tight pencils and render a couple of them in order to provide clear design direction. I was very happy with the result and thoroughly enjoyed the process.

Wow! I remember these!! It seems like forever ago. I dig what you did with the stylization of Big Red. It always is a pleasure to work with the art you guys create cuz you always seem to make these traditional characters "cool". Likewise for your Pirates stuff Hutch.
Thanks Tanner. It's always a group effort, though, and our character art is only half the process. It's never fully realized until it's designed into one of your BG's. And we're lucky to have such a great artist like yourself to take our designs to a whole other level.
Eric! That's sweet dude! Thanks for your kind words buddy. Hey! You're at disney ya? Did I tell you I started at Disney a month ago? I'm at TVA, what about you? Maybe we should grab lunch sometime!!!!
hi
great art!!!!!!!!!!
Kickin' it old school...
First of all....you and Tan need to get a room!
But seriously, I remember these way back when, and I think these were very successful....your passion comes through in your work here.....and with Eric Tan.
Really like the two color pieces. Very Spawn-like in execution. Looks like you had fun making these.
Hey Martin! Lunch sounds great! Glad to hear you're working so close and doing well.
Thanks Raman! Very nice caricatures!
Thanks Ry. How about a photoshoot of the Eric's, eh? If you catch my meaning.
Thanks Vinnie! Definitely had a lot of fun!
